The Polish team of the UNLOCK_projectŁukasiewicz Research Network -Institute of Biopolymers and Chemical Fibres, UNIMOS Alliance and CEDROB – is working full steam on releasing the potential of feathers to foster circularity in agriculture.

Yesterday Vice-President of UNIMOS Alliance Anna Bialik participated in a very fruitful meeting held in Łódz, Poland ?? at the ŁUKASIEWICZ Research Network-Institute of Biopolymers and Chemical Fibres (PL). During the meeting, UNLOCK_project advances, synergies with other EU projects were discussed, as well as upcoming opportunities for collaboration.

It was also a great opportunity to inmerse and experience first-hand how research centers treat feather waste and turn it into valueble resource.

The meeting was coordinated by Krystyna Wrzesniewska-Tosik and Ewa Wesolowska. If you are interested in knowing more how to set up new value chains that integrates poultry waste treated and repurposed into novel biodegradable plastic products, such as geotextiles, seedbed trays, mulch films, and #foam for hydroponic crops?
